Top O' the Morning

I don't know why, but I have always LOVED St. Patty's Day! Last year I decided to go all out, and teach the kids about Leprechaun trap's. I had forgotten that I had made such a big deal out of it, but my kids, however, did not(which actually made me feel pretty good). They started planning their traps about a month ago, and they worked for the past three days together on this one. It was so cute seeing the older kids helping the little guys out, and I was pretty impressed with their teamwork. I love the fact that they're being creative, and I don't really have to do anything--just watch! Here's what they made:

This Dance area actually had a strobe light! They used a blinking light from a lollipop I gave them, who knows when!?! I was really impressed!

Here's what the inside looked like:

These were the designers:

Some how those "tricky" Leprechaun's always get away, but we did find SOME evidence that they had been there:

I love this picture...the whole gang!

Note the green pancakes in the background?

Check out a couple of my own Lil' Leprechaun's:

We topped the day off with a corn beef and cabbage dinner, yum!
Happy St. Patty's Day to all of ya!!!

Oh my gosh!!! Your kids are so hospitable! A bed and even a shower! That was really cute. And I LOVE how the leprechaun turned everything green like that. :) The green pancakes are such a good idea, too! You totally turned St. Patrick's day into a really fun holiday (I can see why your kids wanted to make a trap again!).
Oh, and I love the pic of Anderson with the green hair! He's so cute.

Fun! My mom used to make green pancakes for us on ST. Patricks day! I taught preschool on that day and we did a few things for it, finding "gold" left by the leprachans.. I love the "trap" Fun! Fun! We had green pudding. :)

We had family arrived from Utah on St Patricks. it was a great visit!

I scrolled down a bit, and whew, you were stuck in Mexico a bit? Thank goodness for prayers.

And I sympathize with the pregnancy. One of the family that arrived in town is 6 months preggers, with her first. Just watching her made me remember all over again....
